In the 1970s, I began helping children with disabilities, migrant farmworkers, Native Americans, and other individuals needing legal representation fight for their rights. My law degree is from George Washington University in Washington D.C. and my master's degree in government is from Harvard University.

My wife Barby has a special education degree and works as the law firm's paralegal. Barby began advocating for children with special needs in the 1970s.
